Good afternoon!
The fall soccer season starts tomorrow, with all recreational and some travel games at the SoccerPlex (Koontz Dr, New Market, VA 22844) this weekend.
Here are several important updates and reminders to make the day go smoothly:
Players who still need to purchase a uniform or part of a uniform can do so under the pavilion at the SoccerPlex prior to their game this weekend. We will only be able to accept cash or check. Also, we will have our cleat swap and calendar raffle tickets ($10.00 each) at the pavilion as well for all coaches to pick up their assigned raffle books. This is our only fundraiser we do each year and feel free to stop by to help support SCSL.
Sugar Creek Ice Cream Bus will be at the SoccerPlex this weekend. Sugar Creek will be serving their delicious ice cream, refreshing SnoBalls and hand-crafted lemonades. A portion of each of their sales will be donated back to our league, so please support them.
Reminder that pets of any size are not allowed at the SoccerPlex (unless a service dog). NO smoking or vaping at the SoccerPlex.
Please check the SoccerPlex layout map below for the location of your player’s game as well as designated spectator sitting areas for each field. All of our fields are in the same locations as last season.
If your player’s team is the home team and listed first on the schedule your player should wear the white SCSL shirt and black socks. If your player’s team is the away team then your player should wear the green SCSL shirt and socks.
We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend!
Sincerely,
Shenandoah County Soccer League Board of Directors
