The Shenandoah County Soccer League is run
entirely by volunteers who contribute their time and skills for the good of the children of
our community. Without the generosity of these people, our children would not have the
opportunity to play this great, active sport that gives kids much needed exercise as well
as the channeling of their energy and competitive spirit. If you would like to get more
involved, consider filling a board vacancy. No experience required!
The SCSL 2011 nominating committee will be
actively looking for volunteers to fill board positions for the coming fiscal year which
begins on December 1st. If you are interested in helping in any way, please contact
Brant Bruno or any of the other board
members.
Come to the next board meeting (please see Calendar),
and speak to someone on the nominating committee there. The board meets at 7pm, 1st Thursday of each month - except in July, at the
First Baptist Church. A report of nominees will be presented to the board for consideration at
the October 2011 board meeting.
